BELL Racing RS7-K

The RS7K is the karting only version (non-fire retardant interior) of the RS7. Based on the HP7 design and featuring a lightweight carbon composite shell, the RS7K uses an innovative shell and shield design to improve acoustic comfort while enhancing aerodynamic performance and energy absorbing capacities. The sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 intake and extraction channels that can be used with or without air intake covers. The RS7K’s double screen anti fog (DSAF) visor and rubber gasket seal ensures that water not enter the eye opening in rain conditions.

The Snell K2015 RS7-K is a fantastic choice for karters who demand superior features, lightweight and excellent fit.

The RS7-K features a front aero fascia, an ultra-lightweight carbon composite shell, and a pro-style interior with synthetic neck collar for outstanding comfort. The direct flow chin bar vents on the front of the helmet help to increase airflow and prevent shield fogging.

The RS7-K has been designed to work with Bell’s aero kit to configure the helmet for all open wheel and open compartment forms of racing depending on the aerodynamic requirements and environment. An additional optional aerodynamic kit is available to enhance helmet performance and provide greater stability at higher speeds. The aerodynamic kit includes a chin bar gurney which adds down force to the front of the helmet to prevent lift and a rear spoiler that improves overall helmet stability. Both items come in an unpainted clear finish and attach with included double sided adhesive that holds aggressively to the shell yet can be removed easily without damaging the helmet's finish.

The RS7-K is certified to the Snell K2015 standard which requires the helmet to be tested to the Snell SA2015 impact test criteria but does not require the helmet to be fire retardant.

The RS7-K takes a SE07 3MM Shield which features the SV SE07 pivot system and thumb tab on the drivers left side to allow for easy shield operation. Each helmet comes with a double screen anti-fog (DSAF) visor insert as standard equipment. The RS7-K also features Bell's redesigned face piece with recessed areas that allow for seamless radio integration and easy installation. Racers can also customize the fit of the RS7-K by using Bell's Cheek Pad Inserts in 5mm, 10mm, 15mm and 20mm sizes to tighten the fit in the cheek area. In addition, replacement face piece kits are available for the RS7-K in the event the front interior chin piece needs to be replaced.

The Snell K2015 standard certifies a helmet for use in competitive kart racing. It may also be accepted by some auto racing organizations. Check with your organization to see which certifications are accepted!
