BELL Karthjelm KC7 CMR

The KC7 CMR is an ultra-lightweight youth karting helmet based on the HP7 design platform. The sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 intake and extraction channels that can be used with or without air intake covers to maximize cooling. The RS7 double screen anti fog (DSAF) visor and rubber gasket seal ensures water will not enter the eye opening in rain conditions. The KC7 is certified to the FIA/Snell CMH standard designed for karting drivers under the age of 18 years of age.

The KC7 CMR Helmet is the youth karting version of the RS7 which combines advanced F1 styling, an innovative air intake system for maximum ventilation, and leading-edge aerodynamic performance. 

The sleek, aerodynamic design features an advanced ventilation system with 14 intake and extraction channels that can be used with or without air intake covers to maximize cooling. The KC7 double screen anti fog (DSAF) visor and rubber gasket seal ensures water will not enter the eye opening in rain conditions.The KC7 CMR is certified to the CMH standard, developed jointly by the FIA Institute and the Snell Memorial Foundation. This standard has been developed to create a protective yet light weight helmet for use in karting. Under CIK regulations, helmets certified to the Snell-FIA CMH standard (CMR) can be used in karting and is designed for drivers under 18 years of age. The KC7 CMR is an extremely light weight helmet weighing 1186 grams in sizes 52 to 56 and 1230 grams in sizes 57 to 59.

KC7 CMR is a fantastic choice for younger karters who demand superior features, light weight and excellent fit. The KC7 CMR features a front aero fascia, an ultra-lightweight carbon composite shell, and a pro-style interior with synthetic neck collar for outstanding comfort.The direct flow chin bar vents on the front of the helmet help to increase airflow and prevent shield fogging.

The KC7 has been designed to work with Bell’s optional aero kit to configure the helmet for all open wheel and open compartment forms of racing depending on the aerodynamic requirements and environment. The aerodynamic kit is available to enhance helmet performance and provide greater stability at higher speeds. The aerodynamic kit includes a chin bar gurney which adds down force to the front of the helmet to prevent lift and a rear spoiler that improves overall helmet stability. Both items come in an unpainted clear finish and attach with included double sided adhesive that holds aggressively to the shell yet can be removed easily without damaging the helmet's finish.

The KC7 CMR is certified to the Snell/FIA CMH standard (CMR) developed specifically for younger racers participating in karting.

The KC7 CMR takes a SE07 2MM DSAF Shield which features the SV SE07 Pivot System and thumb tab on the drivers left side to allow for easy shield operation. Each helmet comes with a clear shield and Bell visor strip as standard equipment.
